Please join us on Sunday, April 27th for an extended (3:45 – 5:30) Sundays @the Barn session to meet the Select Board candidates – Charlie Bletzer, John Mahoney, Bill Koehan, Deb Iaquinto, and Scott Vecchi – share their thoughts on Smart Growth, Wastewater Treatment and the impact to Eel River, the Holtec Property and Open Space… and any other questions you would like to ask.
The Eel River flows through the heart of Chiltonville. It’s ~3.9 miles long starting at the cranberry bogs east of Long Pond Road, flowing to the mouth of Plymouth Harbor. The Eel River Watershed consists of approximately 15 square miles, containing roughly 800 acres of open water habitat for various fish species and wildlife that create a healthy ecosystem.
We invite you to join the Eel River Watershed Association (ERWA) as an Advocate Member. Membership is free, no strings attached (opt-out anytime), intended to express your concern for the health and wellbeing of the watershed. Learn more more about the ERWA here.
