Eel River Watershed Association Revitalized

The Eel River Watershed Association is a non-profit organization, incorporated in 1997 dedicated to protecting Eel River and to:

  • Participate in scientific research and educational activities related to conservation and the environment in and around the Eel River watershed areas.
  • Build commitment and involvement for scientific research, conservation, and education activities.
  • Act as a coordinating organization for agencies active in the fields of scientific research, conservation, environmental protection, and education.

We believe in being a strong voice for the Eel River watershed. Our advocacy efforts focus on promoting policies and practices that protect our precious water resources. Here’s how we’re making a difference:

  • Working with decision-makers: We collaborate with local, regional, and state officials to ensure that our watershed’s health is considered in land-use planning, development projects, and environmental regulations.
  • Raising public awareness: We educate the community about critical watershed issues and empower individuals to advocate for change.
  • Supporting responsible policies: We actively support legislation and initiatives that promote water conservation, reduce pollution, and protect our natural resources.

Join us in making a difference!

  • Contact your representatives: Make your voice heard on important watershed issues by contacting your elected officials.
  • Volunteer your time: Join our advocacy committee and help us make a positive impact on our watershed’s future.
  • Together, we can ensure a healthy and vibrant watershed for generations to come.
